Last updated: July 9, 2026
IMPORTANT NOTICE
This disclaimer is specific to the financial and algorithmic trading services offered by TerminalStreet LLC and supplements our general Terms of Service. Please read this document carefully before using any of our financial services.
1. Not Financial Advice
The information, tools, algorithms, strategies, and services provided by TerminalStreet LLC ("TerminalStreet", "we", "us", "our") are for informational, educational, and technological purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice, and you should not treat any of the website's content or services as such.
TerminalStreet does not recommend that any financial instrument, cryptocurrency, or digital asset should be bought, sold, or held by you. You should always conduct your own research, review, analysis, and verify our content before relying on it. Trading is a highly risky activity that can lead to substantial losses; as such, you should consult with your financial advisor before making any decisions.
2. No Guarantee of Results
Past performance is not indicative of future results. The results of any algorithmic trading strategy, backtesting, simulation, or projection provided by TerminalStreet are hypothetical and do not represent actual trading. These results may have inherent limitations:
- They may be prepared with the benefit of hindsight and varying assumptions
- They do not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading
- They do not account for marketplace liquidity, slippage, execution delays, market disruptions, unexpected technical issues, or other real-world factors
- They may not fully account for all transaction costs, fees, taxes, and other expenses that would affect actual investment returns
There is no guarantee that any algorithm, strategy, or system provided by TerminalStreet will be profitable, perform as expected, or achieve any specific result. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
3. Risk Disclosure
Trading securities, futures, options, digital assets, cryptocurrencies, foreign exchange, and other financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. The valuation of these instruments may fluctuate, and, as a result, clients may lose more than their original investment.
Algorithmic trading systems are subject to unique risks, including but not limited to:
- Technological Risks: System failures, connectivity issues, data feed problems, coding errors, and other technological issues can impact the performance of trading algorithms.
- Market Risks: Market volatility, liquidity shortages, flash crashes, or other market anomalies can adversely affect algorithmic trading strategies.
- Regulatory Risks: Changes in regulations, trading rules, or policies can render strategies ineffective or non-compliant.
- Model Risks: Algorithmic models may be based on assumptions that might prove to be incorrect or may not adapt well to changing market conditions.
- Operational Risks: Deficiencies in internal processes, controls, or systems can lead to unexpected losses.
You must be aware of and willing to accept these risks before utilizing our financial and algorithmic trading services.
