API Terms of Use
Last updated: April 25, 2025
These API Terms of Use ("API Terms") govern your access to and use of TerminalStreet's application programming interfaces, software development kits, and associated documentation (collectively, the "Developer Tools"). By accessing or using any Developer Tools, you agree to be bound by these API Terms in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. License and Access
Subject to your compliance with these API Terms and the Terms of Service, TerminalStreet grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Developer Tools to develop, test, and support your application, and to allow your application to access the Developer Tools.
TerminalStreet may set and enforce limits on your use of the Developer Tools (e.g., limiting the number of API requests that you may make or the number of users you may serve) at our sole discretion.
2. API Keys and Security
TerminalStreet may issue you API credentials (e.g., API keys) for accessing the Developer Tools. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your API credentials secure and confidential
- Using industry-standard security measures to protect your API credentials
- Not sharing your API credentials with any third party
- Immediately notifying TerminalStreet of any breach or unauthorized access to your API credentials
You acknowledge that you are fully responsible for all activities that occur using your API credentials, and TerminalStreet is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.
3. API Rate Limits and Usage
TerminalStreet employs rate limits on API calls to ensure service availability and performance for all users. Rate limits vary by API endpoint and subscription tier. You agree to:
- Respect all rate limits and not attempt to circumvent them
- Implement exponential backoff when receiving rate limit errors
- Use efficient API patterns and minimize unnecessary API calls
- Cache API responses when appropriate to reduce load on our infrastructure
API usage that negatively impacts service performance or availability for other users may result in additional limitations or suspension of your access to the Developer Tools.
4. Technical Requirements and Best Practices
Your application must adhere to the following technical requirements:
- Include your application name and version in all API requests through the User-Agent header
- Implement proper error handling for all API responses
- Follow TerminalStreet's recommended best practices for API integration
- Support TLS 1.2 or higher for all network communications
- Maintain compatibility with the current version of the API

When using the Developer Tools, you must not:
- Use the Developer Tools for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
- Build applications that substantially replicate or compete with TerminalStreet's services
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Developer Tools
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on the Developer Tools
